Intimate connection with the tools, materials and surfaces is at the heart of what I do, be it the execution of an art installation, a wall design or a simple paint job. It is the essential link between mind and body, between an idea and its manifestation. For us, it is about pride in one’s craft, respect for the commitment required to learn the tools, understand the materials and surfaces. Perhaps more importantly, it’s about knowing and appreciating how things are made and their true value.
